Not for the faint of heart…

When I first began creating charcuterie boards back in 2018 (seems like a lifetime ago, doesn’t it?) I thought to myself, “wow if only I could do this as a business but……

Then the doubts, fears and what if’s kicked in. What if nobody even buys anything? What if I fail? What if I invest all this time and money into this business and it’s just a passing phase?

Well guess what? Those doubts and fears are honestly still there BUT after four years of investing my heart and soul into this business (AND not to mention the amazing support I’ve received from my husband and kids) I am THRIVING!!!! I was able to quit my job to pursue this full time!!! AND I AM LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

I take that back. The part that I do NOT love is the receipts, book keeping and most of all TAXES! I mean you might as well be speaking Mandarin. At least I now save all my receipts but let’s be real-there is a very good reason I did not become an accountant!!!

Taxes aside, I have persevered through each tax season, asked for help when needed and kept on creating these charcuterie boards for all of your celebrations!!!!

But if I’m being honest I will ALWAYS dread the new year because it means tax season is looming…..

So I leave you with this: Never let those doubts, fears and what if’s get the best of you. Stay strong and persevere. Ask the questions. Do the research. Step out of your comfort zone. I have never been happier and never has “work” filled me with more gratification than this little business of mine that I’ve built from the ground up.
